Israeli police fired stun grenades, rubber coated bullets, tear gas and water cannons on Palestinians at Al-Aqsa Mosque and in other parts of occupied East Jerusalem. The attack has injured over 200+ people.
Tensions had escalated after Israeli court ordered the eviction of Palestinian families from the neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem.
"Strongly condemn Israeli Forces' attack esp during Ramazan on Palestinians in Qibla-e-Awaal, Al-Aqsa Mosque, violating all norms of humanity & int law. We reiterate support for Palestinian ppl. Int community must take immed action to protect Palestinians & their legitimate rights" - Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted.

President Arif Alvi slammed the attack in a tweet, "It is a shame that Israeli apartheid against Palestinians continues."
