ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to promote students of schools run by it from classes 1-4 and 6-7 without exams amid closure of educational institutions due to Covid-19 outbreak.

Students will be promoted to the next class based on their past year's results.

Exams of classes 5 and 8 however will be conducted. Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) notified that the examination schedule will be announced soon.
